Neurology Congress 2016

It is our pleasure to invite you to Neurology conference entitled 8th European Neurology Congress which is held on September 21-23, 2016 at Amsterdam, Netherlands. The main theme of our conference is “Exploring the advancements in Neurology and Neuroscience” which covers wide range of critically important sessions.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle. Neurologists may also be involved in clinical research, clinical trials, and basic or translational research. While neurology is a non-surgical specialty, its corresponding surgical specialty is neurosurgery. Neurological disorders are diseases of the brain, spine and the nerves that connect them. There is ample evidence that pinpoints neurological disorders as one of the greatest threats to public health. There are more than 600 diseases of the nervous system, such as Alzheimer's disease, brain tumors, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and stroke as well as less familiar ones such as frontotemporal dementia and an estimated 6.8 million people die every year as a result of these disorders there by making it necessary to investigate the unresolved Neurological Disorder.

We welcome you and appreciate your participation at the 8th European Neurology Congress , which will be held during  September 21-23, 2016 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will be organized around the theme of " Exploring the advancements in Neurology and Neuroscience

Neurology Congress 2016 will be operated by world class experts in the field of neurology and Neuroscience, International symposiums, B2B meetings, workshops will also be organised to discuss the specific topics in the field of Neurology like Neuro Genesis, Neurophysiology, Neurological Disorders, Neuro Muscular Disorders, Neuro Infecticious Diseases, Neuropathology and Neuroplasticity. The conference is aimed in to identify the genetic determinants of common disorders to understand the mechanisms underlying human cognition. Neurogenetic Disorders are common among developed and developing countries. Genetic disorders and congenital abnormalities occur in around 2-5% of live births accounting for approximately 30% of pediatric hospital admissions in many places in the world. Neurogenetic conditions are generally chronic, long-term and incurable. In Netherlands approximately 10% of patients with neurological conditions have a single mutated gene as the basis for their disease. Furthermore, when polygenic inheritance is considered that is, the interplay between multiple genes and environment, a much larger proportion of neurological diseases are included. Dementia is strongly linked with age, and the Netherlands and other European countries have an increasingly ageing population. Currently 16% of the European population is over 65, with this figure expected to reach 25% by 2030. In the Netherlands it has been estimated that dementia alone costs the economy £17 billion a year.

Why to attend?

Why Amsterdam, Netherlands?

Amsterdam is the capital city and most populous city of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Its status as the Dutch capital is mandated by the Constitution though it is not the seat of the Dutch government, which is The Hague. As is the case in all the countries with the highest health care expenditures, the Netherlands has an exceptionally strong economy. The country's GDP per capita was estimated at $41,711 in 2013, higher than all but a handful of OECD nations. The Dutch government paid the vast majority of health care costs, with nearly 86% of all spending coming from public sources in 2012, the highest proportion in the OECD. Netherlands government allocate EUR 32.5 million to the fight against Neurological disease over the next four years. The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) provided fund of €550 million to fuel the research on mental illness. NARSAD Young Investigator Grant provides $30,000 per year on research in Neural and behavior disorders such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, or child and adolescent mental illnesses.. Amsterdam is currently one of the best European cities in which to locate an international business. It is ranked fifth in this category and is only surpassed by London, Paris, Frankfurt and Barcelona. Many large corporations and banks have their headquarters in Amsterdam, including Akzo Nobel, Heineken International, ING Group, ABNAMRO, TomTom, Delta Lloyd Group and Philips. KPMG International's global headquarters is located in nearby Amstelveen, where many non-Dutch companies have settled as well, because surrounding communities allow full land ownership, contrary to Amsterdam's land-lease system.
